Clinical Content Review Policy

Lakeshore Woods Senior Living | Goforth Group LLC | Effective: July 1, 2026 | Last Reviewed: July 1, 2026

Lakeshore Woods Senior Living and the Michigan Cognitive Recovery Center are committed to publishing health and clinical content that is accurate, current, and aligned with the evidence base behind the ReCODE+ For Facilities Program. This policy describes how we review and maintain clinical content on our websites.

Scope

This policy applies to all clinical, health, and wellness content published on lakeshorewoodseniors.com and michigancognitiverecovery.com, including blog posts, program descriptions, FAQ pages, educational resources, and any content referencing cognitive decline, the ReCODE Protocol, or the Bredesen Protocol.

Primary Clinical Reviewer

All clinical content is reviewed and approved by a qualified clinical reviewer before publication. The reviewer is responsible for:

    • Verifying that clinical claims are accurate and supported by cited evidence.
    • Ensuring that ReCODE+ program descriptions use only Apollo Health approved language.
    • Flagging and correcting any content that overstates program outcomes or misrepresents clinical research.
    • Recommending updates when new clinical data or Apollo Health guidance is published.

    Apollo Health Language Standard

All public claims about the ReCODE+ For Facilities Program, the ReCODE Protocol, clinical outcomes, and Dr. Dale Bredesen’s work must be sourced from and credited to Apollo Health. Staff may not author independent clinical claims about MCRC outcomes or paraphrase Apollo Health outcome statistics in ways not approved by Apollo Health.

    Review Frequency

    Clinical content is reviewed:

      • Before initial publication.
      • At least annually for evergreen content already on the website.
      • Immediately following any updated Apollo Health guidance, new clinical publications, or changes to the ReCODE+ program that affect our published descriptions.

      Citing Sources

All clinical or statistical claims on our websites include a source citation directing readers to the original publication or Apollo Health resource. We do not publish clinical data without a linked, verifiable source.

      Corrections Policy

If a clinical error is identified after publication, we will correct the content within 5 business days of confirmation of the error. Significant corrections will include an editorial note at the bottom of the affected page.
