For the First Time in Michigan's History Alzheimer's Can Be Reversed.

For decades, families were told the same thing: Alzheimer’s only moves in one direction. Dr. Dale Bredesen changed that. His research identified over 36 factors — inflammation, metabolic imbalances, toxins, nutrient deficiencies, sleep dysfunction — that contribute to cognitive decline. By addressing these together using a precision medicine approach, the brain is often able to restore function.

A peer-reviewed clinical trial showed 84% of participants experienced measurable improvement in cognitive function. The 2025 randomized controlled trial found ReCODE produced an effect size 600% greater than the leading FDA-approved Alzheimer’s drug.

Published results from Apollo Health’s clinical research, including the 2025 randomized controlled trial, showed measurable cognitive improvement in many participants with mild cognitive impairment or early-stage Alzheimer’s. Every person is different — individual results vary, and no outcome can be guaranteed. A clinical assessment is required before enrollment, and this program is not a substitute for care from a licensed physician.

A Residential Program Built Around Your Loved One's Biology

Every resident receives a fully personalized protocol based on their own labs, biomarkers, and cognitive assessment — not a generic program.

The four parts of the residential ReCODE program: comprehensive assessment, personalised daily protocol, a certified ReCODE practitioner, and 24/7 residential support.

The program is most effective when started early. Early-stage MCI and early Alzheimer’s show the greatest improvement. The earlier the intervention, the greater the potential.

Built for Every Family That Felt What Mine Did

When Alzheimer’s began changing my brother, our family experienced the fear, confusion, and helplessness that so many families face. Doctors offered management. Nobody offered hope.

The Michigan Cognitive Recovery Center at Lakeshore Woods was built to change that. Not just to keep your loved one safe — but to give them a genuine chance at getting better, using the most rigorously researched protocol that exists today.

This is personal to me. And my team treats every family the same way.

After researching, interviewing, and touring multiple assisted living options for our loved one, Lakeshore Woods stood out above the rest! In just a matter of weeks, our family member has come to love this new home and all the staff! We are so grateful to Lakeshore Woods, not just because it is a beautiful facility with exceptional amenities for their residents and provides high quality care, but that we can now rest at night knowing our loved one is safe.

I've had family and friends here at this home, the staff is knowledgeable, respectful and they genuinely care about those who reside here. I've been visiting friends recently and see nothing but improvements in the facility, upgraded flooring in the older building, a new cook providing a variety of new dishes for the residents. The staff changes, positive output and support is top notch. I would highly recommend this care facility to family and friends.

My experience with Lakeshore Woods has been overwhelmingly positive. From the moment I first walked through the doors, the staff was warm, welcoming, and informative. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Common areas are inviting and well-maintained, and the private rooms feel more like cozy apartments than clinical settings. There are a variety of activities offered daily—everything from arts and crafts to movie nights and fitness classes—which have helped many of our residents to stay engaged and social.

The care staff and Med - Tech's care about their residents and get to know them so they can give them the best care they need. They are also friendly to their family members and reach out to them with any concerns and our great listening to the family concerns . They always take the time with residents and family to lend an ear if they need to talk about anything. It's a clean nice place for them to live at with fun activities to do. They get three good meals a day. The rooms are set up nice so they have their own private living area.

Awesome facility and very kind workers that try their best. Dont listen to the negative comments they’re overreacting and trashing the place, i never once experienced that and the managers there do their best and theyre the ones that stay over 16 hours to pick up what other coworkers dumped on them in order to keep the place running. Amazing place to work and to send your folks!!🤍
